Short Circuits : CD4070

The CD4070 has four separate 2-input Exclusive-OR gates which you can use independently.

Note : Alway should connect unused pin to VDD or VSS.

1-Bit Comparator

The above picture use the CD4070 as 1-bit comparator or Half-Adder without Carry output.

Phase detector

This circuit will detect the input frequency. LED turn-off when it same input frequency .

10MHz OSCILLATOR

VDD = 3 to 15 V

Frequency varies with VDD as the following table

SQUARE WAVW GENERATOR

This circuit will generate square wave at the output.Remerber that the frequency varies with VDD .

The above example circuit has the specification :
Rise time : 50 nS
Frequency : 2MHz When VDD 10V
