Build The Tweak-O!
Many beginning DIYers choose a one-transistor boost or distortion (like the Electra) as a first project. The Tweak-O is this kind of pedal, but it offers adjustable clipping, better sound and more control than many such circuits. The construction methods shown here are much the same as those used in many commercial and boutique pedals. If you build the Tweak-O, you will have learned enough to tackle a more complicated pedal, and maybe even enough to modify the Tweak-O to taste.
