Buck Mode Switching Regulator for Solar Applications

A Versatile Miniature High-Rate ESC with BEC and Brake
This ESC is an analog one, using off-the-shelf components. There are no microprocessors and no surface-mount parts. It’s not as small or as light as many commercially available ESCs, but it’s smaller than many other do-it-yourself designs. LiPo element calibrator
The LiPo calibrator built is a very simple circuit based on the LM317, one resistor and one trimmer that can give a voltage from 4 to 4.5V. The trimmering range (around the point of start) should be minimezed in order to have a very good and easy adjustement with a standard multiturn trimmer. If the user has a very precise and stable power supply or another adjustable power supply (capable to be trimmered at 4.200V) it can be used to calibrate the LiPo balancer element.[more]

Alinco DX-70 to SGC Tuner Interface
If you are using DX-70 and the SGC-239 tuner you will found a this problem-the DX-70 and the SGC-239 tuner were never designed to work together. Alinco did provide an Accessory port on the back of the radio as well as a tune button on the front panel, however some interaction with the tuner (or this interface box) is necessary for anything productive to happen. In a nutshell, this interface box’s purpose in life is to wait for the tune button to be pressed, start the transmitter, and wait for the SGC tuner to finish it’s job. It is a simple circuit for a simple task.[more]
