PICSynth analog synthesizer is a real analog synthesizer to build using easy to get components, capable of a wide range of sounds. The two oscillators can be detuned for that classic synth sound.[more]

The idea of the โPaper Sensorโ is to control sound on an individual storage medium: Silver Lines on continuous paper. It could also be used as a Midi-Controller for Digital Music.[more]

The ultrasonic haptic vision system enables a person to navigate hallways and around large objects without sight, through the use of an ultrasonic rangefinder that haptically interfaces with the user via tiny vibrating motors mounted on the userโs head. The idea behind this project was to construct a sixth sensory system that interacts with the body in an intuitive and user friendly fashion and enables the user to navigate without vision.[more]

Urban Sonar is a personal space monitoring system that senses an individual’s experience as they move through the urban environment and records that information for review at a later time. Turning the gaze both outward and inward, negative space surrounding the individual and their heart rate are used to visualize a lived experience through quantitative data.[more]

The PSoC Range Finder is a simple, inexpensive ultrasonic distance meter that requires only the PSoC device, two 40-kHz ultrasonic transducers, two resistors, and two capacitors. Typical applications include positioning for robotics, generic distance measurement, and liquid-level measurement without contact. [more]
