This project is a 2 channels amp meter. Those channels are completely isolated up to 2000 volts. It provides auto detection for AC or DC current. The main part of this project is the current sensor ZMC10 a cool DIP 14, which supports up to 10 A. The current is measured inside by hall effect sensor and display data using a graphic LCD of the read current and max peek value, DC or AC [more]

This device is a small monitor attached to the hand, which can be worn 24 hours a day for continuous monitoring, strikes us as having the potential for extreme usefulness. The monitor works differently than regular old blood pressure cuff, using a method called pulse wave velocity, which measures the pulse at two points along an artery. Built by a team of engineers at MIT.The team’s first project was a ring that measures pulse rate and the amount of oxygen present in the blood. After developing the ring, Asada decided to move on to blood pressure sensing, which offers even more valuable information about a patient’s health.[more]

The well-designed NozzleMon system monitors the pressure and relative motion of the nozzle at the end of a water hose. The NozzleMon then relays the information back to the pump operator. A 13192-EVB serves as the controller in the pump panel unit, which includes a 2 ร 24 LCD to show pressure readings and messages, a bright red LED for indicating problems, a push button for indicating a set pressure, and a toggle switch for turning on the power. An MC13192 SARD board serves as the nozzleโs processor. Pressure sensing is achieved with an MPXH6400 sensor. Position sensing is accomplished with the x- and y-axis (MMA6261Q) and z-axis (MMA1260D) accelerometers on the SARD board. [more]

TiltStick is a small acceleration sensing device in form of a USB stick. It’s using a two axis acceleration sensor to measure acceleration (caused e.g. by motion and tilt). The device is emulating a USB joystick and can thus be used in conjunction with any USB equipped host (e.g. a standard PC or the Nokia N8XX family) without any special drivers. [more]

This is a weather station with pressure reading, relative humidity, indoor & remote outdoor temperature display. Both Celsius or Fahrenheit & mbar/hPa or mm Hg supported. With calendar & clock. Easy 3-button user-menu. 42 hour-history display (curve). Auto-memory & display of all high and low-values. PIC18F452 running at 4 MHz, power saving sleep mode. Sensors are only turned on when needed.[more]
