Multimodal Music Stand

Multimodal Music Stand
The Multimodal Music Stand (MMMS) incorporates four Theremin-type electric field sensors, a video camera, and a microphone as input sources for the performance of electroacoustic and computer music compositions. It is designed for interactive music performances using computer vision techniques (such as tracking the position of an instrument), audio analysis / transformation of the performer’s playing, and enhanced expressivity through bodily gestures and movements that are tracked via the four electric field sensors (also known as capacitive sensing).[more]

Acid-Machine

Acid-Machine
This is a machine that makes sort of party like music. It works by making a LED blink in the frequency of the sound, and rotating the image at a set speed. The circle with the lines that you see on the top of the machine in the above picture, rotates and displays the note you are playing. [more]

PICTalker : A speech synthesis system using the PIC16F628

PICTalker : A speech synthesis system using the PIC16F628
PICTalker is a low cost allophone-based system for synthesising speech. These pages describe PICTalker and include the circuit diagram, the PIC source code, the allophone file and an allophone file downloader program. It is anticipated that this will be sufficient information for a PIC-proficient experimenter to build and use a similar speech synthesis system.[more]

Matrix Encoded 1V/Octave Keyboard

Matrix Encoded 1V/Octave Keyboard
A keyboard is a central part of any synthesizer and this is a good keyboard circuit. It is monophonic in function i.e. its a single note keyboard. It performs the function of translating key presses into appropriate voltages so that you get 1V/Octave or .08333 volts per semitone. It also provides gate and trigger signals. The gate goes high when you press any key and remains high until all keys are released. The trigger emits a pulse (approximately 1 to 2 mS) each time a note is pressed or changed. [more]

Arduino + Ultrasonic sensor + MP3

Arduino + Ultrasonic sensor + MP3
This is a small autonomous device with Arduino that can detect the presence of people with an ultrasonic sensor. It then proceeds to play an MP3 song with a Yampp Industrial III.[more]
