POV is a really cool concept, similar to the way a television works, an image or series of colors is spewed out and ‘blend’ together because the light pulses occur at a speed faster than our eyes can properly observe. thus like a camera with a long exposure, we see a blur and this blur can be made directly into an image of your choosing.[more]

A PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controller measures a specific variable (such as water temperature) in comparison to a predetermined setting (ideal temp). The controller then performs a corrective action via its control circuit in order to reach the desired setting (i.e. - increases power to the burner). Result = dinner cooked up just right.[more]

This is an Accelerometer Based Mouse designed by Bernard.He shows us how to use an use an accelerometer as a simple mouse.This project uses a MEMS X/Y accelerometer, a PIC microcontroller and a old mouse. He also describes a trick for powering the new mouse with the unused RS232 serial control lines. [more]

This PIC micrcocontroller based African board game Mancala,It consist of LCD display which is most of the power used here is in the backlight for the LCD, which requires 5V and about 80 mA while running. (In this particular model, the backlight can’t be turned off.)[more]
