Scrolling VGA output for Microchip PIC
Hardware is very simple, VGA connector and resistors are pretty much everything that is needed (and the PIC itself).Electrolytic capacitors are placed between VSS&VDD pins because there was unwanted vertical lines in the picture.PIC18F4620 runs @ 40MHz from 10MHz external oscillator with internal 4x PLL enabled. PIC18F needs 4 clocks for single cycle, and most instructions are single cycle. This means that it can change state of output pins with 100ns interval.
