A Quick Guide on Embroidery Machine for Beginners

Now, what’s cool about this sewing machine is your getting it packed with features. You have 67 different stitches It includes buttonholes, decorative, heirloom. It’s really cool. It also has twin needle capability.

You’re getting eight different presser feet. And you are also getting USB connectivity and embroidery card slot. What does that mean? That means you can plug this machine into your computer, go online, and find all kinds of embroidery patterns, some of them are even free. So you can do any project that you dream up. So let’s go ahead and look at a close up of the fun features of our machine.

Right here we have a stitch charts. It’s pretty cool that it’s numbered so you can easily scroll through the LCD screen Its a touch screen, by the way. SO i can pick whatever stitch i want to do, scroll through it. Another great feature is that the stitches are computerized.

So, it kind of picks the general tension and length settings for that specific stitch. And then you can go a head and adjust it for your fabric weight. Pretty cool, especially if you are new to sewing. Over here we have the speed lever. So if I want to go slower, slower.

Faster, over here Backstitch button. This is a start-stop button. You really only use this for your embroidery, but really, technically, you could sew on your machine without useing your foot controller. Thread cutter, love this! It’s a built in thread cutter, so you know when you’re pulling all those threads out it’s like a foot of thread, this just cuts it for you.

You don’t have to be searching for your scissors everytime. It cuts it nice and short and saves you on thread. This is the needle up, needle down button, which is pretty nice. Now, you see all these arrows and numbers. This is like an onsite guide.

So, you can always remember “How do I thread this machine?” Say, i’m up here. How do I thread for the bobbin winding? It has the diagram right here. Same thing with the drop in bobbin, which is really cool. It has this little groove here that shows you exactly what you need to do.

So, you never have to wonder, “Am I doing this right? I can’t remember” You just pop it in like this and follow the little lines. It’s so easy. Also, this has the bobbin and upper thread sensors. So, if you’re sewing and sometimes you’re like “my bobbin was out of thread the whole time and I didn’t know”. Well, this is going to alert you everytime your bobbin is getting low and if your upper thread has come undone, it’s also going to tell you about that, which is pretty cool. Up here is out tension. Over here is for our twin needle. This is twin needle capable pretty cool.

And back here we have our dropfeed dogs. So, when you want to do your stippling free motion sewing, which is number 26, you just click this over and the feed dogs will drop. Another cool feature, easily convertible in to a free arm. With this machine you are also getting these two manuals, which are really great I actually really love the manuals.

This isn’t just some kind of open your book, tell you where to plug everything in and turn on. This is actually a really great sewing guide. Like any kind of book you would get from the library or even online. This is a really great sewing book. So, if you had never sewn before, you could open up this book and you would be able to sew right out of the box.

I mean, I use it all the time It has charts on needles and fabrics I really like this. Also, you have the quick reference guide, which is pretty cool because you can open it up and you’ll see right here it has all the embroidery patterns that are built into your machine, all seventy of them. And it has the color codes so you can easily be like, “What was the next color thread I needed to use?” Well, it’s all right here it also has a quick reference for selecting your stitches and some charts you can use just to make sewing a little faster without having to go all the way back through your manual.
